Avalanche defenseman Jordan Leopold will need another surgery on his right wrist, the team announced today, and will be out approximately two months.

The 27-year-old was injured in the third period Tuesday at Edmonton. He missed all but 15 games last season because of three separate injuries, including a broken right wrist. He had surgery on his wrist Feb. 15 and missed the final 25 games.
