Eighteen men were arrested this week on suspicion of soliciting a prostitute during a “sting” on West Colfax Avenue in Denver.
The suspects ranged in age from 21 to 65, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver police spokesman.
The operation, conducted Wednesday by the police department’s vice team using an undercover officer, spanned a five-hour period.
Police impounded 18 vehicles of suspects as part of the investigation, Jackson said.
The vice unit has conducted eight reverse prostitution stings this year and arrested 136 people, Jackson said.
