Getting your player ready...
The locker-room code calls for players to worry about playing, and let the coaches worry about who’s going to play. It’s a code that’s helped Hamza Abdullah and Nick Ferguson remain friendly, even though Abdullah took Ferguson’s job early in the Broncos’ loss at Detroit three weeks ago.
“We don’t know what goes on upstairs,” Abdullah said. “We’re paid to play. We’re not paid to make coach’s decisions or front-office decisions. It’s a business and everyone knows that. We just want to take advantage of the opportunity we’ve been given, so we’re doing what is necessary for the team to win. And that’s everyone’s concern here.”
