The AST Action Sports Tour recently announced its first international expansion effort with the creation of the AST China event, a global skateboarding competition scheduled for Beijing in April 2008.
Now in its third year, the NBC-owned AST Tour currently is comprised of five national contests featuring skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross with a three-stop winter tour focusing on freeskiing and snowboarding for men and women planned to launch in December 2008.
