DigitalGlobe, a Longmont-based provider of satellite-imagery and geospatial-information products, announced that the WorldView-1 spacecraft has completed its commissioning and is delivering imagery to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Corona Solutions of Fort Lupton announced that the latest version of Staff Wizard is now in beta release. Staff Wizard 2008 is a complete rewrite of the software that has been assisting law enforcement agencies with their staffing/schedule analysis.

Corgenix Medical Corp., a Denver-based developer and marketer of diagnostic-test kits, announced promising results from a preliminary clinical trial involving its AtherOx test kit. The initial results of the study indicate that the test may identify patients at increased risk of heart disease such as heart attacks or severe chest pain.

Accelr8 Technology Corp of Denver announced that NanoString Technologies Inc. acquired a license for using OptiChem coatings on its molecular-identification platform. Accelr8 also announced that Schott Nexterion of Germany purchased an OptiChem license renewal. The licenses provided $200,000 in combined cash payments to Accelr8.

Vista AutoGroup announced the grand opening of its largest automotive dealership: Vista Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and Vista Subaru in Silverthorne. The dealership is the largest in Summit County and surrounding areas.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Holder Construction Co. have signed a partnership agreement covering the new $58 million Hines 1515 Wynkoop Office Building project. ADA Technologies of Jefferson County announced its support of the American Dental Association’s decision to update its best management practices for the disposal of dental amalgam waste. The new guidelines include the use of separators or collection devices that capture and remove 95 percent of solid- waste particles before they enter the sewage system.
