EVANS, Colo.—An Evans man who cut his wife’s throat, seriously injuring her, has been released after a year in prison.
The Greeley Tribune said 31-year-old Nathan Sarchet was released yesterday, and ordered to never go near his former wife, Michelle. She has moved from the area.
He also is on four years probation. Sarchet was arrested last year when Evans police came to his home and found his wife bleeding from the throat.
Sarchet apologized in court yesterday, saying he will never get over what he did.
