CASTLE ROCK, Colo.—A body found in the South Platte River over the weekend is being identified as that of a 63-year-old El Paso County man.
The Douglas County coroner says Spencer Dillon of Green Mountain Falls was found dead in the river Saturday, but the cause of death is pending final toxicology and autopsy reports.
Authorities say there’s no indication of foul play.
Detectives are still trying to determine why Dillon was in the area where his body was discovered.
