The Nuclear Regulatory Commission on Wednesday rejected Nevada’s challenge to a government document database required for the Yucca Mountain nuclear-waste dump to go forward. The decision allows the Energy Department to move ahead on the controversial 77,000-ton dump 90 miles northwest of Las Vegas.
