Iran will give the International Atomic Energy Agency all remaining information on the country’s past nuclear programs within four weeks, the United Nations agency said Sunday.

IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei (left) completed a two-day trip to Iran on Saturday in which a deal was reached on the timetable for verifying the nuclear projects, the Vienna-based agency said on its website Sunday.

Iran “will seek to solve all remaining questions by early February and before Mr. ElBaradei submits his report to the board of governors” in March, the head of Iran’s atomic-energy organization, Gholam Reza Aghazadeh, was quoted as saying by the state-run Iranian Students News Agency.

IAEA inspectors likely will report on Iran’s level of cooperation before the end of next month. The IAEA said in November that knowledge about Iran’s current work was “diminishing,” even as Iranian scientists helped create a clearer picture of past activities.
