LOUISVILLE, Colo.—Three people are dead following an early-morning crash in Louisville.
All three victims were in their 20s.
Police say a Subaru went out of control at about 2:30 a.m. Friday and struck a light pole at McCaslin Boulevard and West Cherry Street.
The impact of the crash ripped the car into at least three pieces and killed the three people who were inside.
Louisville police and the Colorado State Patrol estimate the car was traveling between 101 and 109 miles-per-hour at the time of the crash.
Killed were Michael Martin Flaherty, 21; Amber Dawn Kowalski, 23; and Lucas Raymond Snyder, 21; who were all from Lafayette, the Boulder County Coroner’s Office said.
