FORT COLLINS — The Colorado State Patrol identified a woman killed Saturday about 5 p.m. when a pickup broadsided a sport utility vehicle as Kathi Lightsey, 21, of Fort Collins.
The crash occurred at Colorado 14 and Weld County Road 43.
Lightsey was at the wheel of her 2003 Ford Escape driving east on Colorado 14 when she was struck by a 1975 Ford pickup driven by David Gunn, 59, of Greeley. Gunn ran a stop sign and hit Lightsey’s SUV broadside, according to the patrol.
Two passengers in Gunn’s truck were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
