Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper attended Barack Obama’s campaign rally Wednesday, but the mayor’s office said Hickenlooper is remaining neutral in the presidential race.
The mayor sat in the stands behind Obama with other dignitaries, such as Gary Hart, a former U.S. senator and presidential candidate.The mayor stood and applauded enthusiastically throughout the speech. Hickenlooper welcomed former President Clinton to the city and provided one of the introductions before Clinton’s speech.
