Jethro Tull adds to the trickle of summer concert news with the announcement that it will play Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Aug. 12. The classic prog rockers join previously confirmed shows including the Cure (May 21), Rush (June 5) and Big Head Todd and the Monsters (June 7) — all at Red Rocks — and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (July 19, watch here for on-sale info). Katt Williams has started dipping into the mainstream with flicks like “The Perfect Holiday” and “First Sunday” (in theaters) and various Comedy Central and BET appearances. The L.A.-based stand-up hits the Paramount Theatre on Feb. 24. Tickets are on sale Saturday. ($48- $58, TicketHorse)

Ace Frehley will always be known as Kiss’s original lead guitarist, despite his solo career lasting longer than his time with that band. MEN seems an apt name for the duo of Le Tigre members JD Samson and Johanna Fateman. The former’s gender-bending persona and either’s “electronic provocateur” status should keep them occupied while Le Tigre is on hiatus. They play the Hi-Dive on Feb. 24. Tickets are on sale now. ($12, hi-dive.com)

Panic! at the Disco will headline the Honda Civic tour with pop-oriented guitar-slingers Motion City Soundtrack, the Hush Sound and Phantom Planet when it hits the Fillmore Auditorium on June 3. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($35, Ticketmaster)

American Music Club leader Mark Eitzel made a wise decision when reuniting his seminal rock band in 2003. The group, which meshes country, punk, roots and indie, has a new album (“The Golden Age”) and a May 9 date at the Larimer Lounge. Tickets are on sale now. ($11, )

Jens Lekman is either the new Nick Drake or the new Jose González, depending on how high your opinion is of the Swedish indie singer- songwriter. Tickets for Lekman’s March 27 Gothic Theatre show are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($16, Ticketmaster)

Anti-Flag’s nihilistic rallying cries got a dose of reality last year when bassist Chris #2’s sister was murdered, resulting in the EP “A Benefit for Victims of Violent Crime.” The Pittsburgh punk act plays the Ogden on April 13. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($17, Ticketmaster)

Vampire Weekend aims to continue its popular momentum with ceaseless touring, which brings the Brooklyn act back to Denver for the third time since August. Tickets for its April 1 Bluebird Theater show are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($12, Ticketmaster) Joggers joined Brooklyn-by-way-of-Dayton, Ohio trio Enon on the band’s April 17 Larimer Lounge bill.
