For the second straight year, the Rapids will go to England as part of their preseason training camp. The Major League Soccer team also will be training in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Jackson, Miss.

The Rapids are training at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City for two weeks, then will go to Fort Lauderdale for 13 days of two-a-day practices.

The trip to England will be from Feb. 28 to March 9. The Rapids are partnered with Arsenal FC of the Premier League and will train at Arsenal’s facilities.

Training camp includes a Feb. 22 exhibition game against Real Salt Lake in Fort Lauderdale and a March 22 exhibition against the Chicago Fire in Jackson.

The Rapids’ regular-season opener is March 29 at home against the Los Angeles Galaxy.
