The Rockies will start selling single-game tickets Feb. 16, including tickets for opening day April 4 vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. next Saturday at , at the Coors Field ticket office, Rockies dugout stores, all King Soopers stores or by phone at 1-800-388-ROCK (7625). A limited number of tickets for opening day will be available with a maximum of four allowed.
Fans wishing to buy online at the Rockies’ website must register by midnight Sunday. The team will notify customers via e-mail that they are registered and provide instructions on purchasing tickets. For more information, visit the site, click on “Ticket Center” and then “Register Account.”
Strother a Dream pick.
Colorado girls basketball legend Ann Strother was one of 13 players selected in the expansion draft Wednesday for the WNBA’s new franchise in Atlanta, the Dream.
Strother was left unprotected by the Indiana Fever. She is currently the director of women’s basketball operations at the University of Colorado. She played at Connecticut after leading Highlands Ranch High School to back-to-back 5A titles in 2001-02.
