Colorado Christian got a game-high 29 points and nine rebounds from Brian Stamer to defeat Regis and stay atop the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference East Division standings.

The Cougars (14-8, 12-3 RMAC) held Regis (13-10, 8-7) to 37.9 percent shooting from the floor and fought back a late rally. The Rangers, led by Andy Pokorny’s 25 points, cut their deficit to two points three times in the second half but could not take the lead.

Geremey Gibson added 15 points for Regis.

  • COLORADO SPRINGS — Lawrence Billings scored 20 points and the Roadrunners (15-11, 8-7 RMAC) turned a nine-point halftime lead into a blowout by shooting 75 percent in the second half.

    Colorado Mines 60, Chadron State 57

  • GOLDEN — Chad Friehauf’s 3pointer for Mines with 1:24 left stood up as the Eagles missed two free throws and a jumper in the final seconds.

    Kyle Pape led the Orediggers (13-12, 6-9 RMAC) with 20 points. Down 57-54 with 4:57 left, Mines rallied behind two free throws by Sean Armstrong, a layup by Pape and a free throw by Friehauf.

    Weber State 70, Northern Colorado 54

  • OGDEN, UTAH – The Wildcats (12-10, 7-3 Big Sky) went on a 20-6 run to lead by 17 points with 5:05 left.

    Jabril Banks scored 12 points to lead UNC (10-14, 4-8).
