GOLDEN, Colo.—A man suspected of stealing a vehicle, abandoning it and then attacking two people in their home is being held in Jefferson County.
Sheriff’s officials say the suspect is believed to have abandoned the stolen vehicle when he spotted marked patrol cars Sunday morning.
Authorities say the suspect then went to a house, entered through an open garage door and assaulted the homeowners. A woman suffered multiple head injuries and the man suffered minor injuries.
Deputies arrested the suspect after a foot chase.
His identity was not released.
