Colorado Springs police have arrested a man suspected of killing two men at a party and wounding two others in a shooting spree early Saturday.
Hiram Larry Sampson, 32, was arrested in northeast Colorado Springs on charges of first-degree murder, said Colorado Springs police Sgt. Angelo Butierres.
“There is an investigation underway,” Butierres said, and police haven’t released a photo of Sampson.
Colorado Springs police say the shooter entered an apartment in southeastern Colorado Springs and began shooting during a party. One victim died at the scene, and the second was brought to a local hospital where he died.
Police identified the dead as Darrell Mitchell, 20, and Samone Robinson, 21.
Police found two other wounded men at a nearby Sonic Drive-In, who they believe were shot in the same incident.
Police identified the wounded men as Derek Austin, 20, and Maurice Magazine, 21.
