A standout collegiate tennis player, a high school gymnast and a dominating softball pitcher will lead the list of award winners at the Sportswomen of Colorado’s annual banquet March 9 at the Marriott Tech Center, the organization said Sunday.

Among the 52 athletes to be honored, three will be inducted into the Sportswomen of Colorado Hall of Fame: Sara Anundsen, a former standout tennis player at Columbine High School who earned a doubles title at the University of North Carolina; Loveland High School gymnast Hannah Bower, the first girl to win three consecutive Class 5A all-around titles; and former Pueblo West High School softball star Christie Zinanti, who became the first pitcher in Brigham Young history to win 20 games as a freshman.
