On Saturday night the played host to Denver CD release party. The Colorado Springs-based band played a set of eclectic music from its new disc, “Knees Together Ankles Crossed,” combining guitar, drums, keyboard and electric cello while Willow Welter’s enticing vocals floating above the mix. Attendance was hurt by the cancellation of local act the Life There Is, and most of the small crowd appeared to have made the trek up from the Springs to show their support. Abracastabya plays to the home fans on Feb. 16
with their CD release at Black Sheep.
