You can call Kanye West many things, but it would be impossible to say the MC-producer has bad timing.
West will soon be announcing the dates for his Glow In the Dark Tour, which will include a stop at Denver’s Pepsi Center on April 27, according to Ticketmaster on-sale data. The name of the tour is no doubt a tip to the MC’s Grammy performance on Sunday night — which featured West clad in illuminated shades and a jacket that read like a computer screen from the “Matrix” films.
The good news: West will likely recreate the costuming spectacle for these live shows. The better news: West will be joined by hip-hop rising star Lupe Fiasco, R&B queen Rihanna and producers-turned-MCs N.E.R.D. for the outing.
The bad news: Daft Punk — West’s partners in crime at the Grammys and on the hit song “Stronger” — won’t likely be along for the ride.
