At least two robbers were spending Valentine’s Day eve in jail after snatching flowers from a street vendor at West 10th Avenue and Tennyson Street in west Denver.
The vendor ran after the robbers, who turned and fired a gun in his direction as they drove away. No one was hit, Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said Wednesday night.
The robbers crashed near Dry Gulch Park, where two were picked up quickly. Police were still looking for two others.
