A Friday night party in Lyons turned into a knife fight that sent the host to the hospital and another reveler to jail, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s office.
When deputies arrived, 19-year-old Bodhi Reeves of Longmont was returning to the party at 216 Ewald St. with a baseball bat, after fighting with the homeowner and others earlier, authorities said. Reeves is accused of pulling a knife and cutting those who tried to toss him out.
The party’s host, who was not identified, was treated and released from Longmont United Hospital. Another person was also cut but left before deputies arrived.
Reeves was charged with first-degree assault, felony menacing, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana with the intent to distribute, under-age consumption of alcohol. Reeves also was charged with violating conditions of a bail bond from an arrest earlier this month on charges of carrying a concealed weapon.
