THORNTON, Colo.—Thornton police are investigating the fatal shooting of a married couple inside their condo.
Police found the bodies of 41-year-old Vera Marie Escobedo and her 44-year-old husband, Marco Antonio Escobedo, Saturday night.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 36-year-old Lance Leroy McDermed, who neighbors say had argued with the couple in the past about parking and noise issues.
Police say it appears the husband was shot when he answered the doorbell. The suspect then shot the wife and fled.
