KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs released wide receiver Eddie Kennison on Tuesday.
Kennison, 35, played for the Chiefs for seven seasons and was their top wide receiver for most of that time. But last season, he was limited to eight games because of hamstring and shoulder injuries, catching 13 passes for 101 yards.
Kennison appeared in eight games with the Broncos during the 2001 season.
