Denver reserve forward Eduardo Najera is expected to play tonight, after missing Wednesday’s game due to a family matter. Najera did not attend this morning’s shootaround, but coach George Karl said he should be in Denver for tonight’s home game against the Los Angeles Clippers at 8:30 p.m.
Denver reserve guard Chucky Atkins continues to improve following January’s sports hernia surgery, and Karl said Atkins could return to practice as soon as next week.
