LAKE PLACID, N.Y. — Mathieu Bozzetto of France and Svetlana Boldikova of Russia won parallel giant slalom titles on the final day of competition in the U.S. Snowboarding Cup on Whiteface Mountain.
Bozzetto entered the men’s race as the World Cup points leader and beat Tyler Jewell of the United States in the final heat.
Boldikova beat Fraenzi Maegert- Kohli of Switzerland for her first win at the World Cup level.
• Janne Happonen of Finland won a World Cup ski jump in Kuopio, Finland, for his first victory this season. He was followed by Austria’s Georg Schlierenzauer and Norway’s Anders Jacobsen.
