Frontier Airlines plans to make its Denver-Costa Rica route seasonal instead of year-round. It will stop operating the flights Sept. 4, then resume them Dec. 18. Frontier spokesman Joe Hodas said the company saw that demand would drop significantly during the rainy season and hurricane season. Frontier launched the Costa Rica route in November.
