AURORA — The Rose Community Foundation will award Aurora Public Schools a grant of $378,000 to help parents and students who are learning to speak English.
A check in that amount will be given to the school district today at Fulton Elementary School, known for its innovative student and parent language classrooms, officials said.
The money will be used to close the learning gap for students whose primary language is not English, as well as to increase parental involvement and staff development.
