CENTENNIAL, Colo.—Officials say no one was injured after a building under construction collapsed at Centennial Airport.
South Metro Fire rescue spokesman Andy Lyon says the structure was a small hangar with seven large steel girders. Five girders that made up the frame of the structure fell apart Tuesday. He says everyone near the structure was safely evacuated.
Lyon says the couple of dozen people working on the building heard a noise before the structure fell and got out of the way.
