FORT COLLINS — A bid by newspaper giant Gannett to form a partnership between the Colorado State University newspaper, the Rocky Mountain Collegian, and The Coloradoan in Fort Collins has been rejected, according to Editor & Publisher magazine.
Gannett first put forward the deal in late February to buy the nonprofit college newspaper, though no formal proposal was made, Editor & Publisher said.
