The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will host an informational meeting Tuesday for homeowners facing foreclosure.
City officials and HUD Secretary Alphonso Jackson are expected to address area homeowners.
“His message is going to be that there is help out there. People need to get in touch with their lenders and counselors,” said John Carson, HUD’s regional director.
Borrowers can talk face to face with housing counselors about their situation. Lenders and real estate representatives will also be available.
The free event starts at 6:30 p.m. at Invesco Field at Mile High.
