Going 2-10 vs. top 50 makes everyone forget 2007. At least the Buckeyes know Greg Oden couldn’t have helped if he stayed.
Dayton (21-10, 8-8 Atlantic 10)
A 32 RPI wasn’t enough to make up for losing nine of 16 down the stretch. The committee likes teams with a kick.
Illinois State (24-9, 13-5 Missouri Valley)
No bid with 24 wins? The only good wins were beating Creigh- ton twice. Losing to Drake by 30 in MVC tourney was a black eye.
Virginia Commonwealth (24-7, 15-3 Colonial Athletic Assn.)
