Bison, Beer & Beardsley
Duke Beardsley is a fiercely talented local artist whose wholly contemporary interpretations of Western life and landscapes are arresting and evocative. Get to know his art while munching on one of his favorite subjects — bison — prepared by chef Troy Guard, at this event co-sponsored by Slow Food Denver and CultureHaus. March 27, 6-9 p.m. $40 for Slow Food or CultureHaus members, $50 for non-members. Visit for more information. Duke Beardsley Studio, 1630 Wazee St.

Sisters Chocolat
According to manners columnists across the country, it is indeed gauche to arrive at an Easter brunch empty-handed. Don’t be gauche. Visit Sisters Chocolat to pick up a hostess gift—a box of handmade truffles, perhaps, or a chocolate bunny. 5630 Olde Wadsworth Blvd., 303-420-6261.
