NEW YORK — Furniture maker Herman Miller Inc. was accused by the states of New York, Illinois and Michigan of an antitrust conspiracy involving its ergonomically designed Aeron office chairs.
The states accuse the company of forcing retailers not to advertise or sell the high-end chair at prices below that dictated by Herman Miller, according to the complaint.
