Frontier Airlines subsidiary Lynx Aviation on a flight Friday from Tulsa, Okla., to Denver encountered a “procedural issue” while attempting to lower the landing gear on the Q400 turboprop plane. The pilot used a workaround to lower the landing gear and the plane landed without incident.

“It’s kind of an isolated situation,” where the airline had to circle around Denver International Airport because of traffic and pull the landing gear up, then lower it again, according to Frontier spokesman Joe Hodas. Kelly Yamanouchi
