Broomfield-based Level 3 Communications will pay chief operating officer Kevin O’Hara $585,000 — his annual salary — as part of a separation agreement effective Friday, according to a regulatory filing released Wednesday.
O’Hara, one of the founders of the company, resigned March 10. However, O’Hara signed a one-year consulting agreement with Level 3 that is expected to pay him $100,000 a month. He, along with other executives, did not receive bonuses in 2007.
