Four teenage students from Skyline High School were injured today when the SUV they were riding in crashed into a house.
The crash happened at about 11:15 a.m. in the 1400 block of Cedarwood Drive, said Jeff Satur, a Longmont Police Department spokesman.
Injuries to the students were minor, Satur said. No one in the house was injured.
The boys were driving north on Cedarwood when the 15-year-old driver lost control because he was driving too fast, Satur said.
The driver doesn’t have a license, Satur said.
The SUV belonged to the father of one of the other boys in the vehicle. That boy apparently let the 15-year-old drive it, Satur said.
Police are still trying to determine whether the son of the SUV’s owner had permission to use the vehicle.
The boys in the SUV were ages 14 and 15, Satur said.
The driver of the SUV faces possible charges of driving without a license, careless driving resulting in injury and vehicular assault.
