Getting there perhaps wasn’t half the fun of Scott Williams’ catch of a brown trout from a public section of the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River about 10 miles north of Lake City. But it was most of the effort.
Deep snow in the region created lots of work for the Gunnison angler just to reach the river. A large streamer pattern tricked the big ‘bow, which was released.
