CASTLE ROCK, Colo.—Castle Rock police have arrested a man who was the subject of a manhunt after he allegedly held his wife at gunpoint.

Police issued a reverse 911 call Saturday morning alerting residents of 43-year-old Steven Littlejohn, who they consider armed and dangerous.

Police say they responded to Littlejohn’s house early Saturday on a domestic disturbance call but he had already left. Police say Littlejohn held his wife at gunpoint for three hours before he fled.

Police say they arrested him after Littlejohn called officers and agreed to return home to talk with negotiators.

Police Chief Tony Lane says authorities previously responded to the couple’s home in December for a “domestic situation.”
