Denver police were looking Saturday for a man they say shot and wounded a father and his son Friday night after the two got off a bus at a Regional Transportation District park-and-Ride.
The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. near East 47th Avenue and Peoria Street. Police said at least three passengers got off the bus when an argument ensued between the passengers and the suspect. It was unclear whether the suspect was one of the bus passengers.
The suspect shot one man once and other man several times before running north into an apartment complex. The victims were not identified Saturday, but Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said it appeared that the man who was shot several times would likely survive.
The suspect was described as a black male in his late teens with close-cropped black hair. He was wearing a red and white shirt and red Dickies pants.
