Outfielders Cory Sullivan and Seth Smith and third baseman Ian Stewart head up the Colorado Springs lineup for the Triple-A Pacific Coast League season. Sullivan and Smith were part of the Rockies’ sensational run last season when they won 21 of 22 games on the way to the National League pennant.
The Sky Sox are scheduled to play their home opener against Tacoma at 6:05 p.m., Friday, April 11.

14ers leap into second place
The Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League jumped a spot into second place in the Southwest Division after defeating the host Tulsa 66ers 86-81 on Thursday.
Eddie Gill led the 14ers with 17 points and 12 assists and John Thomas added 14 points and 12 rebounds. Kaniel Dickens scored a team-high 18 points. Mike Hall paced Tulsa with a game-high 33 points.
Colorado (25-21) owns a tiebreaker over division foe Tulsa (25-21). Both teams are three games behind division-leading Austin (29-17).
AFA’s Ehn gets shot at Frozen Four
The NCAA on Thursday selected Air Force senior hockey player Eric Ehn to compete in its Frozen Four skills competition at the Pepsi Center on April 11. Ehn, a 2007 All-American and Hobey Baker Award finalist last season, is the second Air Force player chosen for the competition after Andrew Ramsey competed last season in St. Louis.
