Commerce City officials said today that a mother and baby missing since this morning have turned up safe and healthy.
Police were very concerned about the 1-month-old child and his mother.
The father of the child initially reported that his son had been kidnapped, but earlier today, Detective Mike Saunders said it appeared it may have been an abduction by the mother.
After the pair was located at a home in Denver, Saunders was uncertain if charges would be filed.
Saunders said that the father and the mother are not living together.
The child is James Blase Sanchez, who was born on March 5, and the mother is Stephanie Valdez, 45.
