DENVER—Sen. Ken Salazar has given President Bush three recommendations for filling pending vacancies on the U.S. District Court in Colorado.
In a letter Thursday, the Colorado Democrat forwarded the names of a University of Colorado lawyer, a former assistant U.S. attorney, and a district court judge in Boulder.
Salazar recommended CU senior associate counsel Christine Arguello, 20th Judicial District Judge Lael Montgomery and Gregory Goldberg, a former assistant U.S. attorney now in private practice.
