Metro SWAT teams descended on Aurora tonight after a robbery led officers to shoot one suspect and continue looking for other suspects in the area.
Early reports indicate that a Party City story at 2350 South Parker Road was robbed at gunpoint just after 9 p.m. The robbers fled and one of them was apparently shot by a police officer.
Aurora Police called in SWAT teams and helicopters for help as they search for other men involved in the robbery. The area around the intersection of Iliff and Parker Road is blocked off as Aurora and Denver police conduct the search.
The suspects are believed to be armed.
