Denver County Judge Alfred Harrell has sealed the search warrant in a case in which SWAT officers fatally shot a suspect in a drug investigation, authorities said.
Veteran Denver SWAT Officers Ronald Fox and Thomas McKibben shot Nathan Aguillard during a no-knock raid on his Peoria Street apartment Friday morning when the drug suspect confronted them with a gun, police said.
Denver police requested that the search warrant be sealed because the document is part of an ongoing drug probe, said Detective Sharon Hahn, Denver police spokeswoman.
Aguillard’s family members have hired Denver lawyer Craig Skinner to review his death.
