If spring fever finds you in one of Colorado’s 42 state parks, make sure you have a camera in hand. Then, take a photo that captures the essence of the season and submit it by May 31 to the parks department’s “Signs of Spring” contest. Winners will be chosen in two categories: amateur adults and children 12 years old and younger. Weekly adult winners will receive a Colorado State Parks annual pass; children get a parks grab bag of goodies. The adult grand prize winner will receive a $500 gift card, the child winner a $300 gift card. Entries must be submitted electronically along with the proper release forms, posted at /SOS.htm.
