A man is in custody at Denver City Jail today after he allegedly got in a fight with another man and stabbed him to death.
Edgar O. Herrera, 27, is being held on investigation of of first-degree murder, police said in a news release.
A call came in Saturday about 6:00 p.m. of a fight in the 1400 block of High Street. Officers responding found a man with stab wounds, who later died at the hospital.
Police did not release the victim’s name.
