EL PASO COUNTY — A crash involving a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer left one person dead Sunday.
The crash occurred about 5 p.m. on Colorado 115 at Hitchrack Ranch Road, west of Fort Carson, said Master Trooper Ron Watkins, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.
The highway remained closed as of 7:30 p.m. as investigation into the accident continued, Watkins said.
No information about the identity of the victim or events leading to the crash was immediately available.
