The Broncos made two more roster cuts today: Chad Upshaw, nephew of NFL players’ union boss Gene Upshaw, and receiver Derrick Hamilton.
They were waived one day after the Broncos cut defensive tackle Antwon Burton.
One roster spot was filled by receiver Samie Parker, who formally signed his one-year contract today. Another spot is expected to be filled by free-agent receiver Darrell Jackson.
The Broncos have nine picks in the draft, which begins April 26, but currently have just two open spots on their 80-man roster.
